Mr. Hildebrandt is a geologist with 15 years of experience in environmental geology. He has extensive experience in applying fate-and-transport modeling to impacted sites. He has conducted fate-and-transport and optimization modeling for major oil company facilities in Tennessee, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia, Texas, California, Ontario, Canada, and Northern Italy. These facilities included service stations, bulk oil terminals, refineries, and other industrial facilities. Mr. Hildebrandt has also reviewed fate-and-transport modeling conducted by consulting firms in the southern and southwestern United States. He is well versed in the use and application of all facets of ground-water and fate-and-transport modeling. He has used AT123D and BIOSCREEN analytical models, MOC and MODFLOW/MT3D numerical models, and ARMOS and MOTRAN multiphase flow models. He has also conducted a stochastic simulation of the fate-and-transport of dissolved-hydrocarbon compounds at a bulk fuel terminal in Georgia. He conducted a study to optimize hydrocarbon recovery at a southwestern U.S. refinery. Mr. Hildebrandt also served as the project manager for site assessment and remediation activities at light oil terminals in Kentucky and Virginia. He designed, supervised, and summarized pilot-test studies for vacuum-enhanced ground-water extraction at several sites in the eastern United States. He was also actively involved in horizontal well drilling and vent tests at a bulk fuel terminal as well as cone penetrometer testing at two terminals and several petroleum retail locations in Southern California. Mr. Hildebrandt also participated in the Chevron Long-Range Research Team, focusing on the bioremediation of hydrocarbons. Mr. Hildebrandt has also supervised an extensive forensic investigation at a major petroleum refinery. |
